Christopher Amato, D.O., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Amato is a board certified pediatrician who has been with the practice since July of 2004. He grew up in Southern New Jersey, as the youngest of fourteen children. His large family backround heavily influenced his interest in pediatics, which led him to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After graduating from UMDNJ--School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Amato went on to complete his pediatric residency at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.

Dr. Amato enjoys working with all children and their families, but has a special interest in weight management. He is a proud husband and father who is happiest spending time with his family. He is also an avid follower of all the Philadelphia professional sports teams and tries to stay in shape to keep up with his high energy son.
