Susan L. Horrocks, MSN, RN, APN.C
Susan earned her nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania and has been with our practice since 2004. In her role as Nurse Practitioner, Susan works as part of an integrated team, of pediatricians and staff to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to every child.
Earlier in her career, Susan provided basic medical care to those unable to afford, or without access to basic health care in villages in Central America giving her significant international experience.
Susan has conducted academic presentations at the conference of the Camden County Nurses Association and is involved in the community by working with various charities in the area.

Tamara Twardowski, P.A
Tamara attended McDaniel College, formerly called Western Maryland, where she earned her undergraduate degree biology and psychology. There, she pursued her life long passion of playing intercollegiate Volleyball. Tamara is fluent in Spanish, as a result of her studies abroad in Costa Rica. Tamara earned a master’s degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania’s Physician Assistant Program.
Raised in Wilmington, Tamara grew up less than five minutes from A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, which would come to have a profound impact on her future career choice. Drawn to pediatric medicine from a very young age, she pursued her dream by volunteering countless hours at the hospital through high school and college, and I was fortunate to perform her pediatrics specialties rotation at A.I. DuPont during her clinical year of PA school. There, she primarily received training in pediatric surgery, infectious disease, genetics and hematology/oncology.
She enjoys reading, running outdoors, skiing/snowboarding, surfing, and playing volleyball and kickball for the Delaware Sports League.
